style=\"\">c) the ongoing work carried out by organizations such as the International Organization for Standardization and the Internet Engineering Task Force in relation to building confidence and security in the use of ICTs,<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"exp\" style=\"\"><span style=\"\">recognizing<\/span>\n<ul class=\"sub\">\n<li class=\"basic\" style=\"\"><span style=\"\">the ongoing work by the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) and the ITU Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D) on matters related to building confidence and security in the use of ICTs,<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"exp\" style=\"\"><span style=\"\">resolves to instruct the extraordinary session of the Council to be held during this conference<\/span>\n<ul class=\"sub\">\n<li class=\"col\" style=\"\"><span style=\"\">to establish a working group of the Council, open to all Member States and Sector Members, with the following terms of reference:<\/span>\n<ul class=\"subexp\">\n<li class=\"basic\" style=\"\"><span style=\"\">i) to study the issue of terminology related to building confidence and security in the use of ICTs, and to examine and develop definitions and descriptions in this regard, as appropriate;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"basic\" style=\"\"><span style=\"\">ii) to report to the Council annually on its progress with respect to the issues referred to above;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"basic\" style=\"\"><span style=\"\">iii) to prepare a final report, at the latest by the 2009 session of the Council, including possible amendments to the ITU Constitution and Convention, for transmission to the 2010 plenipotentiary conference;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"basic\" style=\"\"><span style=\"\">iv) to consider the work of the relevant ITU-T and ITU-D study groups on the matter;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"basic\" style=\"\"><span style=\"\">v) to liaise with relevant Council working groups dealing with
